Facebook is rolling out with a “Pages Feed,” which will be a separate news stream for users. Right now it is slowly being rolled out to all users and it will appear on the left side of your home page. Access your page feed here.

This will allow users to see all of the pages that they “Like” in a separate stream. The pages that users have marked as “Liked” will still appear in their normal newsfeed.

You can ask your fans to visit the page feed to keep up with every single one of your updates. This page feed will contain all of the pages that they have “Liked” not just your own. This could help increase reach for the fans that will check the page feed to see updates, but again content, good content, is what truly drives reach. Here’s an example of the page feed:

There is a possibility that Facebook will allow you to set customized page feed lists in the future (a list of specific companies that you want to see in your page feed). It will be interesting to see what Facebook has in store with this new page feed update. There is the potential, though, that this will increase pages engagement and reach.

What do you think of the Page feed update?
